Mjg 2019 -50 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING SAME DAY ACCESS FUNDING IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $12,266.25 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2020 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BHS <br />TO DECREASE WAIT TIMES FOR TREATMENT AND RECOVERY <br />SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Same Day Access funding in the amount of <br />$12,266.25 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental <br />Services and appropriates said funds in the FY 2020 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to decrease wait times for treatment and recovery services. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund Budget are increased by $12,266.25. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 9, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
