MwKLLL <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A VIRGINIA RULES CAMP GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $5,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2020 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE PORTSMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a Virginia Rules Camp grant in the amount of <br />$5,000 from the Virginia Attorney General's Office and appropriates said sum in the FY <br />2020 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Portsmouth Police Department for <br />youth outreach. <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $5,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2019. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 25, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
