��� 2019 -45 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN ALCOHOL EDUCATION AND <br />PREVENTION GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,506 FROM THE VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2019 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE PORTSMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts an Alcohol Education and Prevention grant in the <br />amount of $3,506 from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and <br />appropriates said sum in the FY 2019 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Portsmouth Police Department for <br />alcohol education and abuse prevention. <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $3,506. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 25, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
