AQ� 2(Y '-41 <br />L� <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY <br />RESPONSE TEAM COST RECOVERY FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $6,569.89 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />AND APPROPRIATING SAID SUM IN THE FY 2020 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team <br />Cost Recovery funds in the amount of $6,569.89 from the Virginia Department of <br />Emergency Management and appropriating said sum in the FY 2020 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue and <br />Emergency Services to maintain a superior level of readiness for dealing with hazardous <br />materials. <br />3. That no local match is required for the funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2020 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $6,569.89. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2019. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 25, 2019. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
