AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $43,529,573 BY CLASSIFICATION TO <br />THE FY 2018 OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC <br />SCHOOLS TO IMPLEMENT THE FOURTH QUARTER OF THE ANNUAL <br />BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That the sum of $43,529,573 is appropriated to the following classifications <br />to fund the fourth quarter of the Portsmouth Public Schools' Fiscal Year 2018 Operating <br />Budget, which begins on April 1, 2018 and ends on June 30, 2018: <br />Instruction $ 26,611,729 <br />Administration, Attendance, and Health 2,154,829 <br />Pupil Transportation 1,608,370 <br />Operation and Maintenance 3,536,129 <br />Debt and Fund Transfers 771,732 <br />Technology 1,393,040 <br />Total General Fund $ 369075,829 <br />Other Funds: <br />School Food Services Fund: $ 2,154,699 <br />Total School Food Service Fund 291543699 <br />School Textbook Fund: $ 374,045 <br />Total School Text Book Fund 374,045 <br />School Risk Management Fund: $ 4,925,000 <br />Total School Risk Management Fund 4,925,000 <br />Total Expenditures $ 43,529,573 <br />2.
