ORDINANCE 2018 -119 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A NEW PROJECT TITLED "CIRCLE OF <br />SAIL" IN THE FY 2019 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET AND TO <br />FUND THE CIRCLE OF SAIL PROJECT BY RE- APPROPRIATING $85,000 <br />FROM THE CHURCHLAND BRIDGE BIKE -PED ENHANCEMENTS PROJECT <br />IN THE FY 2019 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it establishes a new project titled "Circle of Sail" in the FY 2019 <br />Capital Improvement Fund Budget. <br />2. That $85,000 is re- appropriated from the Churchland Bridge Bike -Ped <br />Enhancements Project in the FY 2019 Capital Improvement Fund Budget to the Circle of <br />Sail Project for the purpose of funding pilings to support the placement of the Circle of <br />Sail sculpture in the Crawford Street Roundabout. <br />3. That budgeted revenues in the Circle of Sail Project in the FY 2019 <br />Capital Improvement Fund Budget are increased by $85,000. <br />4. That budgeted revenues in the Churchland Bridge Bike -Ped Enhancements <br />Project in the FY 2019 Capital Improvement Fund Budget are decreased by $85,000. <br />5. That the City Manager is authorized to enter into such agreements as are <br />necessary or desirable regarding the use of the appropriated funding for the purpose set <br />forth herein. <br />6. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on December 11, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
