ORDINANCE Ca s <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN OPIOID TREATMENT AND RECOVERY <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,499 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT <br />OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2019 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BHS <br />TO PROVIDE TREATMENT AND OTHER SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS <br />WITH A DIAGNOSIS OF OPIOID USE DISORDER. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts an Opioid Treatment and Recovery grant in the <br />amount of $28,499 from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and <br />Developmental Services and appropriates said funds in the FY 2019 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to fund treatment and other services for individuals with a diagnosis of Opioid <br />Use Disorder. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the funding. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund are increased by $28,499. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 13, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
