71 Dal C:111 <br />k �al I <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING STEP -VA FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$247,500 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH <br />AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN <br />THE FY 2019 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF BHS TO DEVELOP A MORE COMPREHENSIVE AND <br />ACCESSIBLE SYSTEM OF SERVICES FOR THOSE WITH BEHAVIORAL <br />HEALTH DISORDERS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts STEP -VA funding in the amount of $247,500 from <br />the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and <br />appropriates said funds in the FY 2019 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services to develop a more comprehensive and accessible system of services for those with <br />behavioral health disorders. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund Budget are increased by $247,500. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 14, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
