FiLl- <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $554,762 IN ADDITIONAL FUNDING FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID AMOUNT TO THE FY 2019 PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS <br />GENERAL FUND BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it accepts $554,762 in additional funding from the Virginia <br />Department of Education and appropriates said amount to the FY 2019 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools General Fund Budget. <br />2. That the estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools General Fund Budget are increased by $554,762. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 10, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
