ORDNANCE &201 ` <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A PUBLIC SAFETY ANSWERING POINT <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA 9 -1 -1 SERVICE <br />BOARD AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2019 GRANTS <br />FUND FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR <br />TRAINING. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a Public Safety Answering Point grant in the <br />amount of $2,000 from the Virginia 9 -1 -1 Service Board and appropriates said amount in <br />the FY 2019 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Portsmouth Police Department <br />for training. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2019 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $2,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 10, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
