I MMKM w' "- <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN ALCOHOL EDUCATION AND <br />PREVENTION GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,500 FROM THE VIRGINIA <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL BOARD AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />AMOUNT IN THE FY 2018 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT TO FUND AN ALCOHOL EDUCATION PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts an Alcohol Education and Prevention grant in the <br />amount of $2,500 from the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board and appropriates <br />said amount in the FY 2018 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Portsmouth Police Department <br />to fund an alcohol education program. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2018 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $2,500. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 26, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
