2018 -54 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING FUNDING FROM THE VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,200 AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2018 SOCIAL SERVICES FUND <br />FOR THE FAMILY PARTNERSHIP MEETING INCENTIVE PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts funding from the Virginia Department of Social <br />Services in the amount of $10,200 and appropriates said amount in the FY 2018 Social <br />Services Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Department of Social Services to fund <br />the Family Partnership Meeting Incentive Program. <br />3. That a local match in the amount of $1,581 is required as a condition of <br />receiving the funds, which match has been previously appropriated as part of the <br />Department of Social Services budget. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2018 Social Services <br />Fund Budget are increased by $10,200. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 26, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
