AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 10 -122 OF CHAPTER 10 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006), AS AMENDED, <br />TO CHANGE THE VOTING LOCATION FOR PRECINCT NUMBER 39 FROM <br />RIVER SHORE BAPTIST CHURCH TO CHURCHLAND PRIMARY & <br />INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL, LOCATED AT 5700 HEDGEROW LANE, AND TO <br />FORMALLY CHANGE THE NAME OF PRECINCT NUMBER 39 TO <br />" CHURCHLAND PRIMARY & INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL ". <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That Section 10 -122 of Chapter 10 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia (2006) be amended and reordained as follows: <br />Sec. 10 -122. - Precinct No. 39. <br />The voting place for Precinct No. 39 shall be at Churchland Primary & <br />Intermediate SchooL located at 5700 Hedgerow Lan <br />River- -Sher- The name of Precinct No. 39 shall be "Churchland Primary & <br />Intermediate School ". <br />2. That the name of Precinct No. 39 is hereby formally designated as <br />"Churchland Primary & Intermediate School ". <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately on the date of its <br />adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on June 26, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
