pim 201 �8- 6 <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $149,410 FROM THE <br />NON - DEPARTMENTAL TRANSFERS AND CONTINGENCIES LINE ITEM IN <br />THE FY 2018 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE CONTRACTUAL <br />DETENTION HOME LINE ITEM IN THE JUVENILE COURT SERVICES <br />CATEGORY OF THE FY 2018 GENERAL FUND BUDGET. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it authorizes the transfer of $149,410 from the Non - Departmental <br />Transfers and Contingencies line item in the FY 2018 General Fund Budget to the <br />Detention Home line item in the Juvenile Court Services category of the FY 2018 <br />General Fund Budget for the purpose of paying contractual detention costs. <br />2. That expenditures in the Non - Departmental Transfers and Contingencies <br />line item in the FY 2018 General Fund Budget are decreased by $149,410. <br />3. That expenditures in the Contractual Detention Home line item in the <br />Juvenile Court Services category of the FY 2018 General Fund Budget are increased by <br />$149,410. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 26, 2018. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
