2017 -105 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A DONATION OF $20,000 TO THE CITY <br />FROM THE ELIZABETH RIVER PROJECT AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />FUNDS TO THE FY 2018 GRANTS FUND FOR USE FOR THE CONTINUED <br />DEVELOPMENT OF PARADISE CREEK NATURE PARK. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a donation of $20,000 to the City from the Elizabeth <br />River Project and appropriates said funds to the FY 2018 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used for the continued development of <br />Paradise Creek Nature Park. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2018 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $20,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on December 12, 2017. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
