ORMNA 017 -100 <br />..r` <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING STATE HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT <br />PROGRAM FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $25,200 FROM THE VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2018 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />PORTSMOUTH DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND EMERGENCY <br />SERVICES FOR THE SOUTHSIDE REGIONAL HAZARDOUS MATERIALS <br />RESPONSE TEAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $25,200 from the Virginia <br />Department of Emergency Management and appropriates said funds in the FY 2018 <br />Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue <br />and Emergency Services for the Southside Regional Hazardous Materials Response <br />Team. <br />3. That no match is required for the grant funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2018 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $25,200. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 14, 2017. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
