an existing structure or use is expanded or <br />enlarged, except as follows: <br />(a) No additional automobile or bicycle <br />parking spaces are required if the <br />expansion or enlargement would result <br />in an increase of spaces of less than <br />25%. The percent increase is calculated <br />by dividing the number of additional <br />spaces required by the number of spaces <br />required before the increase. <br />(b) When two or fewer additional <br />automobile or bicycle parking spaces are <br />required under this subsection as a result <br />of an expansion or enlargement, such <br />additional parking is not required to be <br />installed. <br />(c) When an existing structure or use is <br />expanded or enlarged by 25% or more <br />of GFA, on -site surface parking must <br />comply with Section 40.1 -5.1 (K). <br />(c) Nonconforming Parking or Loading Facilities <br />Expansion or enlargement of an existing development on a site that does <br />not comply with the standards of this Section 40.1 -5.1 (E) (2) shall <br />require a Special Exception approval by the Board of Zoning Appeals. <br />A -17 <br />
