ORS ----M 205 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING $1,400 OF FUNDING RECEIVED FROM THE <br />VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND <br />DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN <br />THE FY 2018 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICE FUND FOR USE BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO <br />ACQUIRE A PREVENTION DATA LICENSE IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS <br />EFFORTS TO ADDRESS OPIOID ABUSE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts the sum of $1,400 of funding received from the <br />Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and appropriates <br />said amount in the FY 2018 Behavioral Healthcare Service Fund. <br />2. That said funds shall be used by the Portsmouth Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services to acquire a prevention data license in furtherance of its efforts to <br />address opioid abuse. <br />3. That no local match is required in order to obtain said funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2018 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Service Fund are increased by $1,400. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 10, 2017. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
