'~ , . ,, __ <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AHAZ-MAT TEAM EQUIPMENT, EXERCISE, <br />AND TRAINING GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $30,000 FROM THE VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2017 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE, AND EMERGENCY SERVICES HAZ-MAT <br />TEAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $30,000 from the Virginia <br />Department of Emergency Management and appropriates said funds in the FY 2017 <br />Grants Fund for use by the Department of Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Services Haz- <br />Mat Team. <br />2. That no City cash match is required for the grant. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2017 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $30,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on November 22, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
