', .2 -51, <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE SUM OF $30,000 IN THE <br />TECHNOLOGY CLASSIFICATION OF THE FY 2017 GRANT FUND BUDGET <br />FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS. <br />SE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates the sum of $30,000 in the Technology Classification <br />of the FY 2017 Portsmouth Public Schools Grant Fund Budget. <br />2. That the source of the appropriation is additional grant funding received <br />by the Portsmouth Public Schools under a Virginia Public School Authority Educational <br />Technology Notes Series XVI grant. <br />3. That the required 20% local match for the grant funding will be provided <br />from funds previously appropriated to the Portsmouth Public Schools. <br />4. That the estimated revenues and expenditures in the Technology <br />Classification of the FY 2017 Portsmouth Public Schools Grant Fund operating budget <br />are increased by $30,000. <br />5. That the revised categorical funding appropriations for the FY 2017 <br />Portsmouth Public Schools Grant Fund Budget are as shown on Exhibit A hereto. <br />6. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 26, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
