... .. ., ~20~1~6~49 <br />• _. <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000 FROM <br />THE NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2017 GRANTS FUND FOR USE <br />BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION & LEISURE SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH THE OUT-OF-SCHOOL TIME TO COMMIT TO <br />HEALTH PROGRAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $15,000 from the National <br />Recreation and Park Association and appropriates said amount in the FY 2017 Grants Fund <br />for use by the Department of Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services in connection with the <br />Out-of-School Time to Commit to Health Program. <br />2. That no local cash match is required. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2017 Grants Fund <br />Budget are increased by $15,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 12, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
