«.2016.-45..- <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$165,000 FROM THE OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF THE <br />SUPREME COURT OF VIRGINIA AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN <br />THE FY 2017 GRANTS FUND FOR USE SY THE THIRD JUDICIAL CIRCUIT <br />COURT FOR THE PORTSMOUTH ADULT DRUG TREATMENT COURT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia; <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $165,000 from the Office <br />of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia and appropriates said funds <br />in the FY 2017 Grants Fund .for use by the Third Judicial Circuit Court for the <br />Portsmouth Adult Drug Treatment Court. <br />2. That no local cash match is required for the grant. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2017 Grants Fund are <br />increased by $165,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 12, 2016. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
