~x a~, 2016-39 •---~-~p-~.~..n ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-16-02 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the Regulating Plan which is part of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance and which now designates as General Urban Frontage the area described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-16-02, is hereby amended and changed so as to designate said area as Workshop Frontage, and that the Regulating Plan designation for said area is hereby made Workshop Frontage. 2. .That the area of the Regulating Plan affected by this ordinance by being modified from General Urban Frontage to Workshop Frontage is furthermore described as follows: Z-16-02 The frontage along Godwin Street of the property currently addressed as 1320 London Boulevard, the said property being more particularly described as follows: 1320 London Boulevard (Tax Parce10038-0700) ALL THAT certain lot, piece or parcel of land lying, situate, lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, State of Virginia, more particularly bounded and described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at a steel pin at the northeast intersection of London Boulevard and Godwin Street, said steel pin being adjacent to a Virginia Department of Highways Concrete Monument, which has been disturbed; thence north 23° 39' 06" west 14.15 feet to a steel pin near another damaged V.D.H. Monument; thence north 2°48'25" east along the eastern line of Godwin Street 172.25 feet to a steel pin set at the southern wall of Oak Grove Cemetery; thence south 87° 40' 03" east along the southern side of Oak Grove Cemetery wa11258.38 feet to a steel pin; thence south 2°48'25" west 194.84 feet to a steel pin the northern line of London Boulevard; thence along the northern line of London Boulevard north 87° 12' 15" west 51.09 feet to a steel pin; thence continuing along the northern line of London Boulevard on a curve to the right whose radius is 2,583.83 feet a distance of 201.18 feet to the point of beginning; said parcel of land contains 1.135 acres, but this conveyance is in gross and not by acreage.
