`t-. 2 015 3 4 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $187,500 <br />FROM THE VIRGINIA PORT AUTHORITY AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />FUNDS IN THE FY 2015-16 GRANTS FUND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />FISHING PIER AT CITY PARK. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $187,500 from the Virginia <br />Port Authority and appropriates said sum in the FY 2015-16 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used for the construction of a fishing pier <br />at City Park. <br />3. That no local cash match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 Grants Fund <br />are increased by $187,500. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2015. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 9, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
