Sec. 13-74. Ambulance services fees established. <br />Fees are established for the following ambulance services as set forth in appendix <br />A to this Code, including evaluation, assessment, treatment, and ambulance transport: <br />(1) Nonemergency incident response and ambulance transport with basic life <br />support services. <br />(2) Emergency incident response and ambulance transport with basic life <br />support services. <br />(3) Nonemergency incident response and ambulance transport with advanced <br />life support Level 1 services. <br />(4) Emergency incident response and ambulance transport with advanced life <br />support Level 1 services. <br />(5) Emergency incident response and ambulance transport with advanced life <br />support Leve12 services. <br />(6) Emergency incident response and ambulance transport with specialty care <br />transport services. <br />(7) The fee for ground transport mileage shall be as set forth in appendix A to <br />this Code per loaded mile in addition to the service charges set out in subsections <br />(1) through (6) of this section. <br />(8) Emergency incident response and patient assessment with a medical <br />assessment and/or treatment performed but no transport to a health care facility. <br />(9) Emergency incident response with a medical assessment and/or treatment <br />performed where the patient is determined to be deceased at the scene by a <br />medical provider. This fee shall only apply if the Informed Consent to Refuse <br />EMS Care form indicates (a) Patient Treated and Refused Transport or (b) Patient <br />Refused Care, but an Assessment completed. <br />(10) Patient care reports. <br />5. That a new Section 13-75 be adopted and added to the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) as follows: <br />Sec. 13-75. Exemption for City employees or auxiliaries in certain instances. <br />No fee under Section 13-74 shall be imposed on any City of Portsmouth <br />employee or any City of Portsmouth auxiliary officer or other first responder meeting the <br />
