<br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A STATE HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $27,555 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE <br />FY 2014-15 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, <br />RESCUE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES HAZMAT TEAM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $27,555 from the Virginia <br />Department of Emergency Management and appropriates said funds in the FY 2014-15 <br />Grants Fund for use by the Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services Hazmat <br />Team. <br />2. .That no City cash match is required for the grant. <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Operating Budget and in the <br />FY 2014-15 Grants Fund are increased by $27,555. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on Apri128, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
