~~ ~w, 12015-8 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AN OUT-OF-SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMS <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000 FROM THE NATIONAL RECREATION <br />AND PARK ASSOCIATION AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY <br />2014-15 GRANTS FUND TO BE USED FOR PROGRAMS TO FEED LOW <br />INCOME COMMUNITY CHILDREN DURING OUT-OF-SCHOOL TIMES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $10,000 from the National <br />Recreation and Park Association and appropriates said funds in the FY 2014-15 Grants <br />Fund for use by the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Services for programs <br />to feed low income community children during out-of-school times. <br />2. That no City cash match is required for the grant. <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Operating Budget and in the <br />FY 2014-15 Grants Fund are increased by $10,000. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on April 14, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
