~a S <br />S~ <br />~.~ ~:. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $458,872 IN THE FY 2014 - 15 CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT FUND TO UPDATE TWO MUSEUM FACILITIES IN ORDER TO <br />COMPLY WITH FEDERAL AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT <br />REQUIREMENTS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $458,872 in the FY 2014 -15 Capital <br />Improvement Fund. <br />2. That the sources of the appropriation are (a) $107,000 from the Unassigned Fund <br />Balance in the FY 2014-15 General Fund and (b) $351,872 from the Donations Fund Balance. The <br />total expenditures for each of these funds are increased by these amounts. <br />3. That the funds shall be used to install an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)- <br />compliant ramp at the Portsmouth Community Colored Library Museum and an ADA-compliant <br />unisex restroom in the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum. <br />4. That estimated revenues and transfers in the FY 2014-15 General Fund are increased <br />by $107,000, in the Donations Fund by $351,872, and in the FY 2014-15 Capital Improvement <br />Fund by $458,872. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on <br />March 24, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
