<br />ADOPTION OF AN .ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $40,325,841 BY
<br />CLASSIFICATION TO THE FY 2014-15 OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE
<br />PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS SYSTEM TO IMPLEMENT THE FOURTH
<br />QUARTER OF THE APPROVED OPERATING BUDGET, TO APPROPRIATE
<br />$629,546 IN ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR EDUCATION, AND TO TRANSFER
<br />FUNDS BETWEEN CLASSIFICATIONS.
<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia:
<br />1. In order to provide the funding for the fourth quarter of the Portsmouth
<br />Public Schools' FY 2014-15 Operating Budget, that the sum of $40,325,841 be, and the
<br />same hereby is appropriated to the following realigned classifications for the fourth
<br />quarter of FY 2014-15 which begins on April 1, 2015 and ends on June 30, 2015:
