o~ <br />~~~,~~ ~'~~~ 2015--11 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,850 FROM <br />THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND APPROPRIATING <br />SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2014-15 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT TO EXPAND THE PORT SECURITY SURVEILLANCE <br />CAMERA SYSTEM. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $18,850 from the U.S. <br />Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency and <br />appropriates said funds in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by the Police Department to expand the Port <br />Security Surveillance Camera System that includes long range day/night surveillance of <br />the Portsmouth harbor. <br />match. <br />3. That the grant does not require the City to provide a cash or an in-kind <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund and the FY 2014- <br />15Operating Budget are increased by $18,850. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on March 10, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
