aroibaHCE ~a.r. <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE THE FOLLOWING SUMS BY <br />CLASSIFICATION TO THE OVERALL AND SECOND QUARTER FY 2015-16 <br />BUDGETS FOR THE PORTSMOUTH PUBLIC SCHOOLS: $988,698 IN THE <br />TEXTBOOK FUND; $4,814,894 IN THE INSTRUCTION CLASSIFICATION OF <br />THE GENERAL FUND; $273,647 IN THE ADMINISTRATION, ATTENDANCE <br />AND HEALTH CLASSIFICATION OF THE GENERAL FUND; $424,305 IN THE <br />PUPIL TRANSPORTATION CLASSIFICATION OF THE GENERAL FUND; <br />$2,845,615 IN THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE CLASSIFICATION OF <br />THE GENERAL FUND; AND $4,287,376 IN THE TECHNOLOGY <br />CLASSIFICATION OF THE GENERAL FUND. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it appropriates the sum of $988,698 in the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools Textbook Fund. <br />2. That it appropriates the sum of $4,814,894 in the Instruction Classification <br />of the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund. <br />3. That it appropriates the sum of $273,647 in the Administration, <br />Attendance and Health Classification of the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools <br />General Fund. <br />4. That it appropriates the sum of $424,305 in the Pupil Transportation <br />Classification of the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund. <br />5. That it appropriates the sum of $2,845,615 in the Operation and <br />Maintenance Classification of the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund. <br />6. That it appropriates the sum of $4,287,376 in the Technology <br />Classification of the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public Schools General Fund. <br />7. That all of the foregoing sums are appropriated to fund the Second Quarter <br />of FY 2015-16. <br />8. That the source of the appropriation to the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Public <br />Schools Textbook Fund is funds from the FY 2014-15 Portsmouth Public Schools <br />Textbook Fund which were not expended during FY 2014-15. <br />9. That the sources of the appropriations to the FY 2015-16 Portsmouth <br />Public Schools General Fund are funds from the FY 2014-15 Portsmouth Public Schools <br />General Fund which were not expended during FY 2014-15. <br />10. That the estimated revenues and expenditures in the overall and Second <br />Quarter FY 2015-16 Portsmouth Fublic Schools Textbook Fund are increased by <br />$988,698. <br />
