.~ ~f,~ <br />2015..-50 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $20,498 OF FUNDS RECEIVED FROM <br />THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (EDA) IN THE FY 2015-16 GENERAL FUND <br />OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE PAYMENT OF SIX MONTHS OF RENT FOR <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OFFICE SPACE. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $20,498 in the FY 2015-16 General <br />Fund Operating Budget for the payment of six months of rent for Economic Development <br />Department office space. <br />2. That the source of the appropriation shall be funds received from EDA. <br />3. That estimated revenues and expenditures in the FY 2015-16 General <br />Fund Operating Budget are increased by $20,498. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 11, 2015. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
