<br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING IN THE FY 2014-15 SOCIAL SERVICES <br />FUND THE SUM OF $3,700 ALLOCATED BY THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT <br />OF SOCIAL SERVICES TO THE PORTSMOUTH DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL <br />SERVICES TO FUND RESPITE. CARE SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $3,700 in the FY 2014-15 Social <br />Services Fund for use by the Portsmouth Department of Social Services to provide respite <br />care services. <br />2. That that source of the funds is an allocation of additional funds by the <br />Virginia Department of Social Services. <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Social Services Fund and in <br />the FY 2014-15 Operating Budget are increased by $3,700. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 28, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
