20=-~ <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-14-02. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Downtown (D-1), Subdistrict TS <br />the property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-14-02, is hereby <br />amended and changed so as to show said property zoned as GMU-K, General Mixed Use <br />(Conditional), and that said property is hereby zoned as GMU-K, General Mixed Use <br />(Conditional). <br />2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Downtown (D-1), Subdistrict TS to GMU-K, General Mixed Use (Conditional) is <br />furthermore described as follows: <br />Z-14-02 <br />1711 Effingham Street, 1811 Effingham Street, <br />711 Lincoln Street <br />ALL THOSE certain lots, pieces or parcels of land, with the <br />improvements thereon and the appurtenances thereunto belonging, <br />lying, being and situated in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia and <br />being known, numbered and designated as "Parcel B", "Parcel C", <br />and "Parcel D" on that certain plat titled "Minor Subdivision Plat <br />of a Portion of Property Owned by City of Portsmouth/Proposed <br />Development Parcels/Effingham Commercial Center/Portsmouth, <br />Virginia", which said plat was prepared by Parrish Layne Design. <br />Group, Engineers Surveyors Planners, is dated July 20, 2014, and <br />was recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court for the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia in Map Book 23 at Pages 237 and 238. <br />BEING all that certain property conveyed to Economic <br />Development Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia by <br />Deed from the City of Portsmouth, Virginia dated July 24, 2014 <br />and recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Portsmouth Circuit Court <br />as Instrument Number 140006910. <br />3. That the subject property shall be subject to the following conditions as <br />proffered by the applicant for rezoning. The following defined terms apply to these <br />conditions.
