~, 2:2014-83 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA COMMISSION FOR THE ARTS AND APPROPRIATING SAID <br />FUNDS IN THE FY 2014-15 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH <br />MUSEUMS TO SUPPORT THE "RETURN OF PUBLIC ART TO <br />PORTSMOUTH" PROJECT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $5,000 from the Virginia <br />Commission for the Arts and appropriates said funds in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund. <br />2. That the funds shall be used by Portsmouth Museums to support the <br />"Return of Public Art to Portsmouth" project. <br />3. That a local match of $5,000 or greater has been met by City grants to <br />cultural organizations. <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund and the FY 2014- <br />15 Operating Budget are increased by $5,000. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 23, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
