2014- ~ <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,800 FROM <br />THE. DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL <br />SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2014-15 <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUND TO PROVIDE FUNDING <br />FOR A STAFF SCHOLARSHIP TO THE NATIONAL PREVENTION <br />NETWORK CONFERENCE IN SEPTEMBER. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $1,800 from the <br />Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and appropriating said <br />funds in the FY 2014-15 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund. <br />2. That the appropriation shall be used by the Department of Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services to provide funding for a staff scholarship to the National Prevention <br />Network conference in September. <br />3. That no local match is required as a condition of the grant. <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund and the FY 2014- <br />15 Operating Budget are increased by $1,800. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 9, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
