l :~~# ~ ~~' 2014-.72 <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,473 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND <br />DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID AMOUNT IN <br />THE FY 2014-15 GRANTS FUND FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR DEVELOPMENT OF <br />COMPREHENSIVE REGIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION PLANS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $13,473 from the Virginia <br />Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and appropriates said <br />amount in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund for development of comprehensive regional <br />suicide prevention plans. <br />2. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Operating Budget and in the <br />FY 2014-15 Grants Fund are increased by $13,473. <br />3. That no City match is required to obtain the grant funds. <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 26, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
