l11~ ~ ~~ ,014 ; <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A FOUR FOR LIFE GRANT IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF $73,208 FROM THE VIRGINIA OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL <br />SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2014-15 GRANTS <br />FUND -FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE, RESCUE AND <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That it hereby accepts a grant in the amount of $73,208 from the Virginia <br />Office of Emergency Medical Services and appropriates said funds in the FY 2014-15 <br />Grants Fund. <br />2. That the grant funds shall be used by the Department of Fire, Rescue, and <br />Emergency Services to fund emergency medical services. <br />3. That no local match is required for the grant funds. <br />4. That estimated revenues in the FY 2014-15 Grants Fund and the FY 2014- <br />15 City Operating Budget are increased by $73,208. <br />5. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 12, 2014. <br />Teste: <br />City Clerk <br />
