A .~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $200,000 IN THE FY 2013-14 GENERAL <br />FUND FROM THE FY 2013..14 GENERAL FUND UNASSIGNED FUND <br />BALANCE FOR A DISPARITY STUDY REGARDING MINORITY AND <br />WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $200,000 in the FY 2013-14 <br />General Fund to fund the cost of a disparity study regarding the use of minority and <br />women-owned business enterprises by the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br />2. That the funding source of the appropriation shall be the FY 2013-14 <br />Undesignated Fund Balance. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2013-14 Operating Budget and in the <br />FY 2013-14 General Fund are increased by $200,000. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on August 27, 2013. <br />
