<br />nQn~~Ja~n:c t~!l 2013;"~27. <br />UhU1~~~ .'1"vL "tU.____...;w. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 25-148(c) OF CHAPTER 25 OF THE <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (2006) PERTAINING TO <br />THE SETTING OF GOLF FEES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That Section 25-148 (c) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />(2006) be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 25-148. Fees. <br /> <br />(c) Reduction or waiver offees. The fees for play at Bide-A-Wee Golf <br />Course and The Links at City Park may be reduced or waived by the city manager to set <br />and establish rates for golf subscriptions and for temporary off season, non-peak day, <br />promotional golf package, junior and senior, and individual birthday play. The purpose <br />of any rate adjustment shall be to assure maximum use at rates competitive with other <br />area golf courses during periods of decreased play and to encourage the use of the <br />courses and golf carts. <br /> <br />2. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, 2013. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on May 14,2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
