<br />R-13-30 <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />DEED OF VACATION AND RELEASE OF A CITY DRAINAGE EASEMENT ON THE <br />PROPERTY KNOWN AS 300 WYTHE STREET IN PORTCENTRE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there exists a City drainage easement on property currently owned by T. O. Williams, <br />Inc., having a street address of 300 Wythe Street within PortCentre; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no further need exists for the City to retain the drainage easement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a request from the property owner asking the City to vacate and <br />release the drainage easement in order to expand an existing building and to otherwise use their property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that <br />the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute a deed of vacation and release of the City <br />drainage easement for which the City has no further need on the property having a street address of 300 <br />Wythe Street in PortCentre. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on July 9,2013. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
