deceased, dated January 2, 1975 and recorded January 2, 1975 in the Clerk s Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth Virginia in Deed Book 658 at page 127. and 714 King Street That certain lot of land with the buildings thereon and the appurtenances thereto belonging situate in the City of Portsmouth Virginia and bounded as follows: Beginning 102 feet from the northeast intersection of King and Effingham Streets on the north side of King Street; thence running north along the line of the property now or formerly owned by Wm. S. Cooke 113 feet; thence east parallel with King Street 78 feet; thence south parallel with Effingham Street 113 feet to King Street; and thence west along King Street 78 feet to the point of beginning on the line ofWm. S. Cooke. It being the same property conveyed to M. M. Crockin Company, Inc., a Virginia corporation, by deed from S .Lasting and Brother, Incorporated, a Virginia corporation, dated May 30, 1974 and recorded June 7, 1974 which is recorded in the Clerk s Office of the City of Portsmouth Virginia in Deed Book 647 at page 708. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the submitted application and site plan and has recommended conditional approval of said application; and WHEREAS, the applicant has been informed that approval of the housing permit does not constitute a waiver of any other requirement embodied in the City Zoning Ordinance or any other applicable local, state or federal law or regulation; and WHEREAS, the applicant is aware that building permits and any other required permit will be issued only upon compliance with the ordinances, laws or regulations applicable thereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That, coupled with the terms imposed by paragraph 2 hereof, the following conditions exist: (a) The proposed complies with the applicable standards of the City Zoning Ordinance; (b) The proposed use is consistent with the comprehensive plan;
