<br /> <br />2010"'07 .~. <br />l!!_"_'_"'M;""""-"''''''ll't,"-=o~lt,..<"' <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA (2006) BY ADOPTING A NEW ZONING MAP TO BE UTILIZED AS <br />PROVIDED IN SECTION 40.1-1.7 OF CHAPTER 40.1. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby adopts a digital, parcel-based form Zoning Map employing <br />the zoning district designations established in the City Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 40.1 of <br />the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006), and setting the boundaries thereof, <br />from the data-set dated February 9, 2010. <br /> <br />2. That a copy of the Zoning Map established by the City's former Zoning <br />Ordinance, Chapter 40, shall be maintained for historical purposes in the Office of <br />Planning in accordance with the requirements of state law and Section 40.1-1.7 of the <br />City Code. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on May 1,2010. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on February 9, 2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br />
