<br />ORDINANCE RD~"~~~~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND UPDATE REGULATIONS RELATED TO THE <br />VIRGINIA PUBLIC-PRIVATE EDUCATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE ACT OF 2002, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006) be, and hereby is, <br />amended and reordained by revising Section 12-290 as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 12-290. Procedures established, <br /> <br />Pursuant to the requirements of Code of Virginia, ~56-575.1 et seq., the Public-Private <br />Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of2002, the procedures for the consideration and <br />approval of projects for public use involvin~ the creation ofpubIic-private partnerships shall be <br />as adopted by the City Council on December 14, 2010 and set out in the document entitled <br />"Public-Private Education and Infrastructure Act of 2002 - Guidelines of the City of Portsmouth <br />(December, 2010)". A copy of said procedures shall be maintained on file for public review and <br />copying in the city purchasing office and also on the City's website, <br /> <br />2. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />December 14, 2010, <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
