<br />fII\IIfANCE 1O.2~O 1 0 - 58 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $201,030 IN THE FY 2010- <br />2011 GENERAL FUND IN FUNDS PAID IN LIEU OF TAXES BY THE <br />VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ADDRESS THE <br />ADDITIONAL IMPACT ON LOCAL ROADS CAUSED BY VIRGINIA PORT <br />AUTHORITY ACTIVITIES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $201,030 in the FY 2010-2011 <br />General Fund. <br /> <br />2. That the source of said funds is the annual payment in lieu of taxes by the <br />Virginia Department of Transportation to address the additional impact on local roads <br />caused by Virginia Port Authority activities. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2010-2011 General Fund are increased <br />by $201,030. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on July 27,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
