<br />ORDINANCE NO.2010-27~ A' <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A ONE-TIME SAPT BLOCK <br />GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,500 FROM THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT <br />OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES AND <br />APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE FY 2009-2010 BEHAVIORAL <br />HEAL THCARE SERVICES FUND FOR USE BY THE PORTSMOUTH <br />DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEAL THCARE SERVICES TO PROVIDE <br />PREVENTION SERVICES FOR YOUTH AND FAMILIES. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the sum of $2,500 allocated by the Virginia Department of <br />Behavioral Health and Developmental Services to the Portsmouth Department of <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Behavioral <br />Healthcare Services Fund. <br /> <br />2. That no local match is required, and the funds will be used to provide <br />prevention services for youth and families. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenue in said Fund is increased by $2,500. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on April 13,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
