<br />R-10-08 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />DEED AND OTHER NECESSARY INSTRUMENTS TO CONVEY TO THE <br />PORTSMOUTH REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, A PARCEL OF LAND ON GODWIN <br />STREET FOR THE FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF WESTBURY. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that <br />the City Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to execute a deed and other necessary <br />instruments to convey to the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia a parcel of land located on Godwin Street and described <br />"PROPOSED PARCEL A PROPERTY TO BE ACQUIRED FROM THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH AREA = 65,644 SQUARE FEET OF 1.5070 ACRES" as shown on an <br />exhibit attached hereto, entitled: "EXHIBIT 'A' SHOWING PORTION OF TAX <br />PARCEL 00810040 TO BE ACQUIRED FROM THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH BY <br />PORTSMOUTH REDEVELOPMENT & HOUSING AUTHORITY, PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA" and to do all acts necessary to effect said conveyance. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting <br />held on March 9,2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
