<br />OR <br /> <br />ANCE .1I200~04 <br />~i' <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIA TING $1,300,000 IN THE FY 2009-2010 <br />BEHAVIORAL HEAL THCARE SERVICES FUND TO PURCHASE AN <br />ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD SYSTEM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates the sum of $1 ,300,000 in the FY 2009-2010 <br />Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund to be used for the purchase of an electronic health <br />record system. <br /> <br />2. That the electronic health record system is a component of a strategic plan <br />by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services Consumer <br />Record Workgroup for implementation of electronic health record systems among <br />community services boards, state facilities, other health care providers, consumers, and <br />family members by June 2012. <br /> <br />3. That the project will be funded by accumulated earned fee revenue from <br />the provision of behavioral health care services and unspent funds received from the <br />Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, and that no local <br />match is required. <br /> <br />4. That estimated revenue in the FY 2009-2010 Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services Fund is increased by the sum of$I,300,000. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on October 27,2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
