<br /> ORDINANCE ..~2 ~.~~1 ~~. <br /> ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-09-03 <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br />1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Downtown Industrial (D-2-I) and <br />Downtown Residential (D-2-R) , the property described in Petition for Zoning <br />Amendment NUfilber Z-09-03, is hereby amended and changed so as to show said <br />property zoned as Downtown Mixed Use (D-2-M), and that said property is hereby zoned <br />as Downtown Mixed Use (D-2-M). <br />2. That the property. affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Downtown Industrial (D-2-I) and Downtown Residential (D-2-R)to Commercial C-2 and <br />Downtown Mixed Use (D-2-M) is furthermore described as follows: <br /> Z-09-03 <br /> 1703.1707.1711.1713.1715.1717. <br /> and 1721 Columbia Street <br /> Lots 1 through 9 Block K Columbia Street and that portion <br /> of Columbia Street closed beginning at the western line of <br /> Williamsburg Avenue and proceeding westward <br /> approximately 257.5 feet. Property is further described as <br /> beginning at a point where the western line of <br /> Williamsburg A venue intersects the northern line of <br /> Columbia Street, then proceeding 150 feet along the <br /> western line of Williamsburg A venue more or less, then <br /> proceeding westward 300 feet more or lees to a point, then <br /> proceeding northwardly 204.51 feet more or less along the <br /> western line of lot 9 block K and the eastern terminus line <br /> of Columbia Street to a point in the northern line of <br /> Columbia Street, then proceeding eastwardly 256.62 feet <br /> more or less to the point of beginning. <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on October 27, 2009. <br /> Teste: <br /> City Clerk <br />
