<br />';~' <br />~:r~ <br /> <br /> <br />i()~'9-93 <br />'@,<.._t""""''''''~I' <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY <br />ADOPTING A DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN AND WATERFRONT <br />DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth: <br /> <br />1. That, after public hearings before the Planning Commission and the City <br />Council concerning a proposed Downtown Master Plan and Waterfront Development <br />Strategy as required by Va. Code sections 15.2-2204 and 15.2-2225, it amends the City's <br />Comprehensive Plan to include said Master Plan and Development Strategy as Appendix <br />A to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />2. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on September 22,2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
